Dilapidated Dreams is a little passion project from my recent kiteboarding trip to Brazil in the 2025 spring season! With this being my 5th consecutive season in Brazil, it also marks the 5th video part I have made from my time training in the perfect Taiba lagoons! This film similarly focuses on the "pure freestyle" and kite park style which can be found in most of my yearly kiteboarding edits, but with more of an experimental twist. The unique and intriguing opening sequence, experimental in style, touches on the idea that a career as a professional freestyle kiteboarder is dying, or becoming dilapidated and unrealistic. It's becoming a dream to which few of us are trying to hold onto. . . .
