Toeside to Heelside Transition Steps: - Step 1: Send the kite Slowly move the kite across the wind window with the bar sheeted out and hands centered. - Step 2: Follow the kite Twist your shoulders and hips in the direction the kite moves. Watch the kite to align your body correctly and avoid losing balance. - Step 3: Transfer weight to heels As you turn downwind, shift your weight gently from your toes to your heels with relaxed ankles. - Step 4: Get small and lean back Stay compact and lean back as you begin your heelside edge to prevent sinking or tipping over. - Step 5: Power up the kite Once in position, pull in on the bar and do a couple of power strokes to regain speed and ride away.
