Inverted Frontroll (Hooked)
How to Do an Inverted Front Roll Kiteboarding
1. Pop with speed – Build momentum with a strong pop; bounce the board if needed to release cleanly. 2. Tuck the front knee – Bring it up into your chest to help initiate rotation. 3. Dip your front shoulder – Begin the roll by leaning into it and turning your head slightly back. 4. Throw your head back – Look at the water to fully invert the roll. 5. Switch hand position – Keep your back hand centered on the bar; bring your front hand to the small of your back. 6. Kick your legs up – Extend them upward to follow the rotation and complete the inversion. 7. Maintain kite tension – Feel the bar pressure; dive the kite slightly for control, then let it catch you. 8. Land downwind – Bend your knees for a smooth, soft touchdown.
